The Renaissance History block is one of the most memorable in the entire grade school experience. The prototype of the "Renaissance Man" is so much in keeping with the educational philosophy of the Waldorf school that students feel a great kinship with the likes of Brunelleschi, Leonardo, and Michelangelo. This block also serves as a hub from which almost everything that they study this year: Mechanics, Physiology, Algebra, Perspective Drawing -- extend like so many spokes.
